Aura

It starts out dizzying
and contained, an 
air pressure shift
in the cabin. Walking,
I’ll feel woozy, weaving
around bodies on 
a crowded subway 
platform.

There are several
minutes before the real thing
hits. It is like watching a
storm roll in over
the plains, the sky
darkening until 
you can hardly see
your own arms.
